MySolarWealth is a company mainly based in Portugal and Hong Kong founded in January 2022 by a team of two ambitious and dedicated young entrepreneurs: Rui Reis and Mingyao Wang. We founded the company with the aim of democratizing finance and empowering every investor to invest in a sustainable future while having great returns with minimized risk.
Under the current economic recession and global energy crisis, many investment opportunities, like the stock market, are facing enormous challenges. So, we explore different ways of finance and create a unique solution for every individual investor to invest safely and earn well. At the same time, maximize the impact of their investments.
A new way of investment with mysolarwealth
This is achieved by providing our investors the opportunity to explore various solar energy projects used by households, businesses or the local government. At the moment, we have several houses using solar energy projects and a large business solar panel-powered roof project. For instance, one of the projects is a detached house from Oeiras, Portugal, which is requiring a +12 Kilowatt solar system to be installed on its roof and in its garden.
This can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 3.5 tons annually. More importantly, by investing in such a project, the repayment from the household is estimated to generate a return from 10% to 12% for the investor, which can be based either on interest payment or electricity payment scheme.
This type of return and minimized level of risk is typically ensured by going through our thorough and careful evaluation process which contains several steps. This will allow us to have sufficient information regarding the financial background of any household.
Firstly, we would localize the project and collect basic personal information regarding the solar panel applicant, especially a financial payment ability background check that focuses on its current earning levels, job position and other important factors. Secondly, information regarding the location and the house where the solar system installation will be evaluated, such as the average sunshine hour or minimum electricity used daily.
These details will show if the installation of the solar system will actually generate a strong return for investors. Next, we would go through a credit evaluation process, which focuses on its past electricity bill payment, credit history on loans and other minor details. All the variables will be quantified to determine a score for the applicant. For instance, it needs to be higher than 80 points to be considered credible. We are constantly improving the credit evaluation process to reduce investment risk.
After careful consideration of all the information regarding the financial viability, we would also evaluate the environmental impact of each project. This process will mainly focus on carbon dioxide and other toxic gas emission reduction, with some consideration of the number of people impacted.
Going through this entire process, we currently have 3 major household projects and 1 business solar project waiting to be funded by the investors. All these projects are based in Portugal and within areas with more than 1600 hours of sunshine annually, such as Cascais. They are also estimated to generate a 12% annual return and reduce up to 12 tons of carbon dioxide annually.
Not only connecting directly with households and businesses, we have also already established a relationship with a large Chinese Solar Panel company and are connecting with other Portuguese renewable energy companies. Partnerships with manufacturers and engineering companies will help MySolarWealth to reach more renewable energy projects and present them to investors.
