Sustainable Development Model for a Hotel Owner in Oeiras
About the Project:
- Our goal is to crowdfund the majority of the department store’s electrical energy supply.
- The project aims to raise 39,800€ for the installation of a 30 kW solar power system.
- The photovoltaic power station will be installed on the roof of the department store, with an output power of 30 kW and an annual power generation capacity exceeding 45,000 kWh.
- The project will utilize a system from SUPREMINFINITO or a similar company, ensuring reliable and high-quality components. Detailed pricing information can be found in the accompanying diagram.
- The department store has a history of being well-run and profitable, and the owner has a good credit rating.
- The shopping mall is conveniently located with easy transportation access and a surrounding population with significant purchasing power.
- It features a spacious parking lot and is the only large department store in the area.
MySolarWealth aims to provide a sustainable development model for a large department store, Vida Shopping, in Quinta de Lomba, Setúbal, Portugal.
Financial Viability:
- As the project is for commercial power consumption in a shopping mall, the electricity price discount is slightly lower, at 0.23€ per kWh.
- The shopping mall has a contract with EDP for electricity supply, with a current price of 0.2342€ per kWh and an average monthly bill of 6,000€.
- The estimated annual electricity revenue, based on the generation of 45,000 kWh at 0.23€ per kWh. So, the project will generate estimated annual electricity revenue of 10,350€.
- While the department store’s electricity bill will be significantly reduced, the project will also significantly improve the building’s energy efficiency level.
- The energy efficiency rating is expected to increase from the current level of E to B or even A.
Project Details:
- System Supplier: SUPREMINFINITO, a distributor of a well-known Chinese solar panel manufacturing company with years of experience in solar system sales in China.
- SUPREMINFINITO is also the Portuguese sales partner of a renowned inverter manufacturer, ensuring reliable and high-quality products.
Your Impact:
- Greenhouse Gas Reduction: The project will contribute to an annual reduction of over 21 tons of CO2 emissions, equivalent to planting more than 1,000 trees.
- Improved Energy Efficiency: The department store will experience a significant increase in energy efficiency, potentially moving from the current rating of E to B or even A.
- Job Creation: By significantly improving its cost efficiency, Vida Shopping will be able to hire more local employees through further investment in expansion.
Your Risks:
- MySolarWealth minimizes risks through asset collateral:
- The solar power system is owned by investors.
- In the event of loan default, the system can be sold in the secondary market or transferred to another project.
- Additional Security: The department store owner is willing to sign property collateral:
- In case of loan default, investors have the right to become part owners of the department store, earning a portion of revenue or income from future sales.
